MEET THE AUTHOR

The Americas Poetry Festival of New York 2016 (poetryny.com) is the third multilingual poetry festival and writers’ conference organized by poets and professors Carlos Aguasaco, Yrene Santos and Carlos Velásquez. This year the festival will take place on October 12, 13 and 14. The venues are: Center For Worker Education CCNY, Walt Whitman Birthplace State Historic Site and Interpretive Center, Consulate of Argentina in New York, and Instituto Cervantes NY. TAPFNY is currently sponsored by the Division of Interdisciplinary Studies of The City College of New York, Artepoetica Press, Escribana Books and Terraza 7 Live Music. El Festival de Poesía de las Américas -Nueva York 2016- (poetryny.com) es el tercer festival multilingüe y encuentro de escritores organizado por los poetas y profesores Carlos Aguasaco, Yrene Santos y Carlos Velásquez. Este año el festival se celebrará en octubre 12, 13 & 14. BOOK SUMMARY

This volume, coedited by poets and Professors Carlos Aguasaco, Yrene Santos and Carlos Velasquez Torres, collects the work of the poets that participated in The Americas Poetry Festival of New York 2016.
